in Construction Awards

Employees entered this years ‘Best Places to Work in Construction Awards’, without the prior knowledge of the Directors.

Upon hearing the news that the Company had been shortlisted Contracts Director – Mark Coleman said “we are extremely pleased and proud to be shortlisted for this award, not to mention a little humbled.

We are a family business that values the contribution and efforts of our people and ever since the Company was founded by my grandparents we retain their values of trust and reliability and like to promote a feeling of belonging. We as a Company reciprocate the hard work and loyalty by providing the best possible environment”.

David Coleman – Managing Director and Lesley Morris – Company Secretary attended the awards, held at Lords Cricket Ground in June, with members of their management team and despite not winning an award on the day, Lesley’s response “We are all winners today” was typically pragmatic.

She went on to say “One of the big benefits for us is that we can use the feedback from this entry to guide our continual improvement programme. By listening to our people and engaging them in the process of improvement we all benefit”.
